E.E. Cummins said, “It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”
Who you really are meaning becoming the person you know deep in your heart you came here to be.
What most people don’t know about this great American Poet is that he self-published most of his work because he could not find any publishers who believed in him. His poetry style went against the culture of his time. With every rejection he grew in courage.
The French word courage means ‘heart’. And so it takes heart to become the person you know deep inside you came here to be, and manifest the life you truly long for. A life that has never been lived before, where everything you experience is yours and only yours.
According to E.E. Cummings himself, it also takes one prayer, and today I’m borrowing it for my whiteboard:
may I be I is the only prayer—
not may I be great or good
or beautiful or wise or strong.”
~ E. E. Cummings
Wealth, health, love and happiness flow to those who follow the wisdom, and guidance of their heart. E.E. Cummings said it, and so did the Dao.
