For a great part of my life, many of the important decisions I made came right after I had a melt down, a break-up, or I was very angry and I just couldn’t take it anymore.
But these last few years I’ve noticed that my best work, projects, and my best choices were always done when I was enjoying life and was feeling fully loving, creative, and free.
The great French philosopher Voltaire once said that “the most important decision you make is to be in a good mood.” And Walt Whitman reminded us to be happy “not in another place, but this place, not for another hour but this hour.”
I totally agree.
Being happy – regardless of your current circumstances – is a choice you can make right now, in this place and in this hour. In fact, your choice to be happy right now is the key to manifesting your heart’s desires.
One day consists of 86,400 seconds and 100,000 heart beats, each one containing countless options, possibilities and decisions we could make. With every second and with every heartbeat, life is giving us a pretty big menu of possibilities.
The choice to be happy is always available to you.
